Will it ring in silent mode or Do Not Disturb?

Yes. AlarmMe rings even in silent mode and Do Not Disturb.

Can I just turn it off or uninstall it?

Not easily. It only stops once the challenge is done, and AlarmMe can block uninstalling the app and turning off the phone while it rings. Both are optional.

Does it work if the app is closed or the phone restarts?

Yes. Your alarms still ring.

Why does it ask for permissions?

So alarms ring on time, even with battery saving on, and for the optional anti-cheat features. Skip the ones you don’t use.
